Pass blocking, screens, and short yardage. I don’t see Ingram playing much this season unless injury bug hits. He needs another year of the weight room. He got zero carries last year at Cent. Michigan either

I don’t think freshman were on campus at Central Michigan due to Covid. All of them came after fall. He came in spring semester then transferred

Wasn’t aware of that so even more reason to think he might lack physical maturity to play

Can’t wait to see what a year on a nutrition program is going to do. If he isn’t asked to play an HBack role for the team could easily see him drop down to 210-215ish and gain the long ball threat

I’d like to see him in that 215-220 range. It sounds like his best attribute right now is being hard to bring down. I could definitely see him getting in at the FB spot on goal loan plays out of the I.

Just don’t be peckerheads to eachother. It’s frickin’ Friday, for Pete’s sake.

Peckerhead, my dad used that expression and Im 60, how ole a baw are you Jones, just kiddin.

On a trivia note, when Michaelangelo was painting the sistine chapel, his staff had not been paid for months. So he wrote a letter to the pope "I humbly beseech you in the name of St. Peter to...." Which is where the expression For Petes Sake comes from. Now back to regularly scheduled programming (which does not include covid please).

Any ideas on if we are going to have a 3rd mid week scrimmage this week before we begin game prep?

Not to bring bad news, but…

A poster on on3 asked Justin Hokanson “any feel yet as to whether we could be missing players or coaches for Akron?”

Hoke replied, “ I can’t predict that right now. There’s about to be no room for error, that’s for sure.”

More testing coming this week.

Haven’t seen anything about Tennison.

Trigger alert — this post isn’t a judgement, celebration, whatever you want to make it, just relaying information — trigger alert.

Someone on the 247 board asked asked a freshman DB about vaccinations. He said everyone expecting to play this season has been or is getting vaccinated currently.

I think that’s just implying that we are getting to the point that positive tests are going to impact games. Not that they are aware of anyone that will be out.

That’s a line we are going to have to walk until we hit the threshold, be it from vaccinations or positives.

That was me

Yeah, I don't really know what I expected him to say, but ... if we've got more rounds of testing this week I can't imagine it's going to be all good news. Some of those players could wind up missing Akron.

EDIT: I think I recall hearing about Tennison moving from one DB position to another ... ? But that doesn't seem like a very noteworthy move.

I feel like all I’ve seen is that he’s been at Nickel instead of safety, which isn’t anything crazy.

Can we call him “Alfred Lord Tennison?”

Nickel Laureate of college football.

I had no idea who it was but I would have probably googled and came back and pretended I did if you didn’t post this.
