Has anyone heard anything on Diamond?

Tate said he expected him to compete for PT mid to late this year and said he has been impressive. Don't know how that doesn't translate to early this year

Also, I need to go to AUFamily to post a "I told you so" about Diamond not starting at LT let alone RT. Some douche canoe argued with me that Diamond was the best tackle prospect we had and Avery Young and Patrick Miller were better suited for guard Young is athletic enought o play guard I just don't see why you would waste his ability

Also, thirdlawson whre are you seeing this/

If the OL competition is as good as we all think it is, then no one should have an issue with Slade winning a spot... he's got 3 years in the program, with two years as a starter. It takes some OLs at least three years to fully develop... it's not necessarily his fault we didn't have capable upperclassmen ready at the guard spots.

IMO, I think slade will be fine... he and dismukes have plenty of experience playing with each other... two brand new starters at Guard could cause for some struggles up front.

Yeah, that guy isn't making much sense there.

That was a few months ago around NSD. There are a few people there who I swear have never watched a football game in their life

As typical Craig Sanders, let's bull rush straight into the lineman

Hey, someone told Kiehl to look up! Unfortunately it looks like he's about to sack himself

There is a new opening at backup hback I don't see why Kiehl doesn't try out. 6'2 225 is decent size for it

If he doesn't make the 2-deep at QB, I hope he goes the Burns route instead of the Tebow. He should at least try to contribute elsewhere. Being on the field in some capacity is better than holding a sign of Kenny Powers, Chuck Norris, Papa Smurf, and a twinkie.

ETA: actually, that would be a badass sign to hold

not sure if you're serious... but he doesn't seem to like contact (not that many QBs do), and to play that position you gotta like hitting people. That's not Frazier... sure, size wise fits the mold, but he lacks the mindset.

Oh, I don't know, maybe because he's trying to win the QB spot, no matter how likely or unlikely it may be.

I hope it was pretty obvious I was joking about KF going to hback

There still is a very very real chance Keihl starts and I have made my thoughts known on that. I am just holding out hope for the Mar-Sea-Shell wagon
