With no pesky pass rush to bother him either.

How funny would it be for Leach to come in and run up the middle the first 20 plays.

Their leading rusher only had 280 yards all season long. If they rush for more than 100 yards against us we fricked

Am I missing something or hasn't our secondary been the strongest part of the defense since the spring?

Or are we fricked because a backup CB is potentially out for the season?

Is that really saying much?

Not sure random quotes from players and coaches is enough for me to believe after the last several seasons regardless of the injury issues.

Why was Brandon King moved from safety this late, while also considering the lack of depth back there?

Do you know the move was permanent? I don't think it's out of the question that Johnson wants some guys to be cross trained at different positions as a just in case backup plan.

Could be. Could not be. I haven't seen a single scrimmage/live practice to jump to that assumption.

What else is there to go on?

Why even keep up with football in the off-season if you aren't going to believe anything said/written? Might as well just pick it back up opening weekend when you can see the product for yourself.

Does King have the speed and coverage ability to play as a deep safety? I know he played a Star type position in JuCo, so I'm not sure he's ever demonstrated an ability to play as a deep safety.

Yesterday was a rough one. Hopefully today goes better.

I guess we recruited two of the top DE recruits for no reason then.

I'd glad put up two top GA HS DE's against whatever scrub Washington tackle they have...one of which is also a freshman.

Both are under 300 pounds too.

Nothing. Which is the point. To believe the secondary is a strong point of our d solely based on what has happened from spring through two a days seems a bit overly optimistic.

Who said I wouldn't believe anything said/written? I simply don't fully believe everything said/written.

Well, that is when I will start seeing and believing things for myself. I still like to keep a loose grip on what is going on in the off season regardless of how reliable or meaningful the information released is.
