I’m still wondering where the speed on the ends is going to come from.

Moultry, Big Kat, Hall, Wooden. Hopefully one of them can get it done

Ruin one of the most iconic, perfectly symmetrical logos in all of sports. Good choice. JABA

I’m pretty sure this is the extent of the change. Just getting rid of that little sliver of color between the A and U.

I don’t really understand why they want/need to fix that but I don’t think I’ll lose sleep
Over it

The only reason I could think for doing that is it will be a little easier to paint/design on things.

It's not that big of a deal, but it does look odd. That just block of orange catches the eye weird for sure.

That was my thought as well. But they could just paint the field that way and leave it normal elsewhere

I don’t think it will look as gaudy with the white/blue outlined logo but agree with orange outline which is the main/helmet logo

This business will get out of hand. It will get out of hand and we will be lucky to live through it.

I watched it Sunday night by the pool with a cigar and my wife, it was my birthday and I had drank just enough pints at dinner to really enjoy it.

Ferg:

Quick observations from the viewing window of Auburn's first full-pads practice:

- LB K.J. Britt was not dressed out and was walking around in an orange jersey + shorts.

- WR Eli Stove was fully dressed but not active during the window.

(Clarification on WR Eli Stove: Wasn't *fully* active. Participated some in drills but stretched off to the side by himself.)

- WR Anthony Schwartz (hand) was absent.

- Nick Coe continued his offseason world tour by lining up some at first-team DT next to Derrick Brown.

- Javaris Davis, Christian Tutt, Matthew Hill and Ja'Varrius Johnson were the punt returners in an extended special teams period.

- Same orange jerseys from Friday's window.

- I noticed freshmen Tyler Fromm and Luke Deal rotating with the first-team backfield at HB during zone read drills. Same RB rotation as Friday.

- LB Michael Harris wasn't a full participant.

- The Los Angeles Rams and the Chicago Bears had representatives in attendance.

Yep. People forget how often Cam avoided sacks by himself. Exactly why I hope Gatewood gets the start, because of his ability to avoid being sacked. I don't think Nix can do that.

SO I have to disagree. Bo looks plenty quick enough to extend plays and avoid pressure while keeping eyes downfield. He was only sacked 2 times his last 2 years of highschool. I know SEC isn;t highschool but that is still very damn impressive.

Hopefully it’s minor.

I don’t see him breaking tackles like Joey.

With no reports or anything and no noticeable medical equipment reported, I'd bet it is just a minor ding that they'd rather rest him before the scrimmage.

Per BM: First team offense was Nix, Boobie, Seth Williams, Mathew Hill and John Samuel Shenker

We'll see where things are after the scrimmage.

If they truly are 1a & 1b right now, i'd assume certain days one would be with the 1's and one would be with the 2's. Once we start getting multiple days in a row of one being with the 1's, then i'll take it as meaning something.
