You screwed your son with this roster and you screwed Auburn by leaving the way you did.

I don’t think there was any real “good” way Bruce could have left, and ensured that SP got the job. I got nothing but love for BP. And I think all things considered, Steven is doing a good job with what he has. Gonna take till probably Feb. to hit any kind of stride. We’ll be a tourney team. Maybe even 2nd weekend if he and his staff can teach Hall and Overton and #6 to play at least passable defense.

Ideally he announces retirement fresh off another final 4 appearance. Sure Pett would leave but what's the difference in 12 leaving, and not 11. This year is a rebuilding year and a confidence year for Pearl. Not an ideal scenario. If we have more bad losses you will see Pett check out.

Do we even know why he left at this time? I know some people thought he was headed to politics but has that been proven?

I may be wrong but I dont look at BP as someone to just ride off into the sunset. He certainly has something on the horizon.

I am a huge Bruce fan but I also have a brain. Bruce saw the opportunity to slide Steven in with least resistance. The rest of the world sees Bruce as leaving after seeing his own shite roster

Not sure of his reasons for leaving but they were his. I feel a little concerned if I was a player coming into play for him and he pulled the rug out just before the season starts. That is a little shady unless he spoke to them before he did it.

Otherwise, it doesn't matter why he decided to hang it up. That is his business.

I know it was going to be a tough year of coaching to get this team ready as they have never played before together in this style of offense.

A lot of injuries on that bench right now. Let’s not clean house yet, like football fans moths out, tend to do.

There is a “burn out” process along the way. Coach’s will “Flame Out”without reason.

If you really want to feel great dept: Chad Baker-Mazara is leading the BIG 10 in scoring and is in the top 5 in the country in scoring.

Watched Southern Cal game Sunday night and the announcers could not brag about him enough.

Steven will be fine. Are we a final four team this year, probably not. But that won’t be on SP. I like his adjustments he makes at halftime and I feel like we have won all the games this team could have possibly won at this point.

We've lost to then #1 Houston, away from Neville, then #7 Michigan, away from Neville and to #2 Arizona in Tuscon. Those teams are currently ranked #7,#2 and #1. No, we don't have last years roster but last years roster wouldn't have gone 3-0 against that.
