I've seen too many linemen not willing to just do their job and block. they dont care
I honestly never played Oline so I don't know enough about it to speak to it.
Could be footwork, effort, assignment... I'm honestly unqualified to diagnose why our Oline is so bad.
Sometimes our guys just miss blocks, sometimes totally out of position, sometimes they're there but just get beat badly.

I’m just curious what you had an issue with in particular that’s all. It makes it very difficult when you know (correctly) you can’t run the ball against this team between the tackles at all AND your QB can’t be trusted to make great decisions AND your OL can’t give him time. And that compounds in effect on the defense when you have no prayer at playing a slower, ball control game.

I just turned it. I just can’t watch anymore. I feel for our kids.

We fired Chiz and hired Gus. Then we fired Gus and might as well have rehired Chiz. Firing Malzahn without someone capable and ready was so fricking stupid. I hope we're not about to do the same thing.

I just want someone to hit a fricking leghumper. Just go hit Bennet hard - targeting, late hit, I don’t give a frick. Just hit someone

This is aTm 2012 all over again
It's bad but not that bad. aTm put up over 60 and did it inside JHS.

2012 A&M was 42-0 at half time… this game is far from that

Zero reason to roll out on that play. He had a perfect pocket for once

Yep. That was a clean pocket

The playcalling is terrible. Run on 3rd and 8. No quick passes. No designed run plays for Ashford. We aren't very good. But install something that could hide some of our shortcomings. There are so many you can't hide them all. Just feels like poor coaching. Fair catches on the 5. 10 penalties. Everything sucks

Vandergriff would rather be thUGA 3rd string QB than transfer to us

I played offensive line. It’s all of that.
It’s mostly talent though. Offensive line is a tricky position to fill. You have to have a body that can be 300+ pounds with quick feet, endurance, and the intelligence to handle complex offensive schemes.
But the technique is atrocious. That Twitter video posted earlier displays it well. Guys playing too high, not moving their feet, improper hand placement. I don’t know the play assignments, but I assume they’re out of position or making incorrect reads.

We are.
We always do.
It’s the Auburn way.

I think it's general dislike of the staff.
If I had to say:
(1) Defense was good until they broke
(2) Terrible call on the fake punt
(3) We seemed ill prepared to play an away game with all of the offsides
(4) They need to get Ashford to start tucking the ball. There's no way this doesn't come up in practice and should be nicked in the bud. Literally need a coach who yells at him every time he does it in practice. Hell maybe have him do some ball security drills with RBs
(5) We might have been doing it, but the blocking didn't let the play develop, but I'd have liked to see more deep shots and screens. Is what it is but we were never going to be able to run inside on this GA team
(6) The offense is completely wrong for Ashford - but I'm not sure how you fix that at this point

Part of it too is our OL seems to be just a half step too slow

Yea I played RB and I remember looking over at the Oline drills like "wtf are those guys doing?" - they'd be getting into almost a squat position and shuffling forward and backwards and stuff like that
