Games in the SEC are very physical . In tournament
games, not so much and the result is lots of fouls are called.

I imagine it is very difficult for players to adjust.

Could have sworn we concluded less fouls are called to keep with tv scheduling

In past years maybe but not this year. The depth was a true strength for us and could have played well in the tournament. CBM being out is what hurt more than anything else

That post made me laugh, it's hilarious what people come up with/convince themselves of. I question if some people ever watch games. The refs almost always suck and you can't use that as an excuse when you lose to Yale

Yep. Fact of the matter is we have a rep for fouling a lot and it was brought up very early. The Nick Fairley effect. Refs dont mind blistering us then.

Or the year in 2018 when our CBs got a rep for fouling a lot and the refs ate us a live with personal foul penalties like in the LSU game.

Rotation is what made us good. If you just take our starting 5 we’re pretty meh.

That’s my biggest qualm with Pearl his scouting

Look around the league at Sears, Kinect, Hubbard, the guard from TamU

Every year other coaches find these studs and we haven’t had one since Jabari.

Thinking way too hard on this. This is the Tournament. This is what you strive for all year. When it came, they played like crap. It’s really sad.
They played like they were on mission in the SEC Tourney. Yesterday, they looked uninspired and for the last 10 minutes of the game they looked like a clown show.

Why did this happen? Again? We were not outmatched here. It wasn’t the rotation, it wasn’t the game plan, it wasn’t the coaching.

Bruce says he’s tough on the guys and I don’t see why he would lie about that, but I just can’t stop thinking he’s a little too much a fan of his own guys to the point where he can’t help them become better. I don’t know. Who knows? It’s puzzling.

He should focus a lot less on the politics and a little more on the basketball honestly

This is dumb. The idea that an adult can't talk about politics and still do their job is some middle-school shite.
