It's looking like our chances are getting better!

You have to be impressed with how this team plays. They aren't to a point where its a lock, but things are trending.

They have a long conference season ahead but they look solid after 2 games. Does 10-8 do it? I think we go 12-6

I’m excited about this group, but perhaps it’s a bit early to be making tourney calls after two sec games?

Exactly why I posed the question

Yeah, it would take a monumental collapse not to happen. AU is in, let's just hope we get seeded high.

We've gotta win 25 games minimum in my opinion. We won 24 and went 10-6 in the league in '08-'09 and got left out. With our history, or lack thereof, we have to show out to get in.

The SEC has earned their keep this year. 24 wins gets us in for sure. South Carolina got in last year at 22-9 (12-6) with an 0-1 bounce in the SEC Tournament

Simple question.

Let's do another round of GenesChin's #Sh*tStatistics, where some dubious statistical assumptions are used to predict Auburn basketball outcomes

TeamRanks "Bracketology Projection" Probability of Bid:
26+W - 100%
25W - 99.9%
24W - 99%
23W - 94.1%
22W - 72.3%
21W - 31.1%

GenesChins basics assumptions
-Individual Game Win% = Geometric Avg of RPI Wizard, KenPom, ESPN BPI & TeamRankings Predictor
-Games are independent events
-That my formulas are right because double checking for SECr posts is a joke

quote:

Probability of getting 'exactly' the amount of wins

quote:

Probability of getting "At Least" that number of wins

TeamRankings suggests that 10-8 would put us around 70+% chance of a bid
