After seeing the performance out of this team on Saturday night, I have to admit that I feel now they may actually have a shot on going to a bowl game. I think after the September that this team experienced making it a bowl game would be huge! (even if that bowl game is in Birmingham) We will learn a whole lot about this team/coaching staff after this BYE week and gearing up for a deflated Arkansas team.

AU needs 5 wins to make it a bowl game….where do they get them?

10/6 – Arkansas
If Auburn plays like they did this past Saturday and Arkansas stays flat, I like AU chances in this one - TOSSUP

10/13 @ Ole Miss
This is still Ole Miss…even though the game is in Oxford my gut tells me AU pulls it out - WIN

10/20 @ Vanderbilt
Coming off the teams first road win on the season, they roll into Nashville and steal one from the Commadores – WIN

10/27 - Texas A&M
I do think this will be a “bump in the road” for Auburn and they take one on the chin - LOSS

11/3 - N.M.State
AU gets it done - WIN

11/10 – UGA
UGA is looking pretty darn good this year - LOSS

11/17 – AL A&M
RENT-A-WIN - WIN

11/24 Alabama
(no comment) - LOSS

I see 4 wins remaning……with Ark. being a toss up…..and as Loyld Christmas would say “So your telling me there’s a chance”

Two years removed from a national championship and after several top five recruiting classes and we are having to "find" the sixth win in our schedule to go to the DBVA Bowl in Bham........

Lo how the mighty have fallen.......

TAMU is also at worse a toss-up. If it is a night game in JH and we have beaten, Arkie, Ole Miss, Vandy, it flips to us being favored. I see a 6-6 season and a bowl game, but hoping for a 7-5 season.

If we do not sweep these 5, I am not going to be happy.

If we go 4-1 I am not happy, but I can handle it and am ok with it.

If we go 3-2, I am extrememly upset and consider the season a disaster.

We are just as good as Arky or A&M and have them both at home. We are better than Ole Miss and Vandy though we play them on the road.

Have to disagree here. A&M is pretty weak along the DL, if SL gets his head out ofhis arse and runs the ball up the middle we can win this game.

We don't have the offense to beat A&M, Arkansas, or UGA.

Yes we do... Arkie and AM defenses are not good... See Auburn vs. LaMo or Clemson.

I think we go 7-5, and Chizik gets 2013 to prove if he has this team competing for titles.

I hope we go bowling. This team needs the confidence they can win going into next year, and they really need the extra practice that comes with bowl prep.

UGA is looking pretty darn good this year - TOSS-UP (Rivalry Game will look similar to LSU but hopefully a win)

RENT-A-WIN - WIN

11/24 Alabama

I did a thread on the SECr that stated we would play LSU close and finish the season 8-4 resulting in a 9-4 record with a Bowl win. I am sticking with that prediction.

The five games in between are winnable and Mark Richt will fail to meet expectations at some point in the season and Auburn is just as good a place as any for him to do so

I would much rather stay home than end up in the Compass Bowl in Bham... That would be the ultimate humiliation.

i do not see this team making a bowl....pumping sunshine only works for folks that are in the dark....this is not a good football team and i have doubts that it will ever be under the present regime

Screw that. This team needs the extra practice for any bowl game they can get.

I like Legion Field. It is the most unique sporting venue in America, how many other are surrounded by slums like ole LF? Plus there is nothing quite like tailgating with your glock in waist.

10/6 – Arkansas
TOSSUP 40% Win 60% Loss Can our defense stop Wilson and a spread attack?

10/13 @ Ole Miss
TOSSUP 70% Win. They put up 30+ on Texas. I know they gave up almost 70, but they are much better this year

10/20 @ Vanderbilt
Tossup 80% Win 20% Loss Similar team to last year, can we score on them?

10/27 - Texas A&M
Tossup 50% Win 50% Loss They hung with Florida and almost beat them. QB is very good and have good playmakers on offense.

11/3 - N.M.State
WIN

11/10 – UGA
Loss, we will not score more than 14 and they will score probably 20-30 because it is at home

11/17 – AL A&M
WIN

11/24 Alabama
LOSS but I expect a closer game like 09 IB

I expect 5-7 or 6-6. There is a rule that 5 win teams can go to a bowl so it is possible.

Years of Democrats will do that to an area......

I was telling the wife that we'd go to the game if we made it. Probably get a room at the Tutwiler and take their shuttle to and from the game. Make a staycation out of it. It would still suck balls BTW.
