I'm gonna say yes at 6-6. BBVA Compass Bowl bound. And like others have mentioned, I want us to get to the bowl because we need all the extra practice we can get.

But I would slow down on the talk that Arkansas, Vandy and Ole Miss are automatic wins. One thing, other than mediocre coaching and player development, that's been constant under Chizik is playing up and down to our competition. Going down to the wire against Utah State and La.-Monroe, but playing the No. 2 team in the country to a 2-point game?

It's easy for any team to get up for an LSU squad, but we have a problem getting up and being fully prepared on a weekly basis. Are all three of those games winnable? Absolutely. But we could also lose 2 of the 3.

Just trying to be real about it.

I don't think any SEC game can be considered an "automatic win"..but I would call those three games Winnable for AU

Probably get a room at the Tutwiler and take their shuttle to and from the game. Make a staycation out of it

You live in Birmingham (or I thought you did). Why rent a room at the Tutwiler?

If we make the Compass bowl, I'll definitely be there

Yep.

I just saw a lot of posts after Saturday's game along the lines of, "Yeah, Ole Miss is a win. Yeah, Vandy's a win." Before Saturday's game, there were lot of folks debating whether these games were wins. What a difference a week makes.

Not that it's worth a whole lot, but here's my prediction for the rest of the season.

Arkansas - W (it's gonna be VERY close if Wilson's playing, but I think home field allows us to pull it out)
Ole Miss - W/L
Vandy - W/L
Texas A&M - W (new team, playing at home, advantage AU)
NMSU - W
UGA - L
Alabama A&M - W
Bama - L

I just have a bad feeling about the back-to-back road games with Ole Miss and Vandy. I think we drop one of those, more likely Vandy (Lord, I hope I'm wrong). But I just hope we can pick up the win against Arkansas to get things started. If not, this thing could go into a tailspin.

But yeah, I have us going 6-6.
