Suggesting PTB's wanted someone fired is odd...most of them are probably somewhat old school and likely would see a midseason firing as reactionary or poor leadership assuming there wasn't some other circumstance like NCAA issues, Title IX, over the top insubordination, etc...

Something I just read and totally forgot. Tony Franklin was our OC for 2008 3-2 game against Miss St. If he was going to follow his own logic he should have fired himself on the way to the locker room. That’s all I’m going to say.
