Let's enjoy it for the short time he's here. It'll be fun to watch him, don't get me wrong, but there's no postseason and the kid is so good he'll go pro right after the season. Kinda bittersweet. He is the real deal.

1 game. Lets see what happens when teams start sinking to the free throw and going under on picks to see if he make a jump shot. He's really good but lets see how he does over the next few games before saying he is a 1 and done. I'm not sure bammer even prepared for Cooper. Now teams will

He will have a decision to make. He is that good. Come back next year and lead Auburn or go pro.

Are you saying the same thing about Powell?

THey had the exact same stats in their home debut...

It's easy to put that out there...but unless the NBA is starving for PGs, his size alone and trying to get to the basket in the NBA will be a challenge.

2 years of high level competition and working on his game would give him a chance at top 10 in 2022.

He'll be back in 2022.

He doesn't have to worry about money at all ....that is coming and another year or two makes him that much more valuable ...if game one is any indication of his overall talent.

I look forward to watching Cooper and Powell on the floor together. I suspect they’ll split time with both on the floor when Flanagan needs a breather.

Posts like this show we have a long way to go in becoming a basketball school. His frame alone prevents a one and done, be realistic people.

I really think he will want a shot at making a tournament run, if everyone returns next year plus Jabari and Trey then it will be a top 15 team no doubt.

I'm the one being realistic.

If Sharife is drafted in the 1st round of the NBA draft he’s guaranteed $10mm over the first 4 years of his career. If he’s picked in the top 10 that money moves to $19mm+.

I don’t see him (or anyone) turning down that money.

ESPN is already posting solely highlights of Sharife. He’s got the hype following him too. Which is great for Auburn.

I don't want him to leave, but if he does it will help us down the road with recruiting. Either way it benefits Auburn. I hope he comes back, but won't begrudge him if he doesn't.

If he is a lottery pick, go. But if this team all come back next year we are 2021 Gonzaga.

This is my thought as well. Guaranteed lotto is gonna be hard to turn down, but if he keeps getting late first round grades I think he might actually return.

If he keeps playing like he did against bama, it's a wrap and I'm all for it! Go get paid young man! That's the point in going to college.

It goes without saying, but teams will scheme against cooper now... it was pretty clear bama did not. That high ball screen blow by won’t be there... teams are going to lay off and may him shoot. That’s why made Harper so damn good... he could make defenses pay for going under ball screens.

I think we might see more P&R and P&P with Coop drawing so much attention
