Freeze to me looks like he doesn't want to be here. On the sideline, he looks like a guy wanting to retire.

The last three guys haven’t worked. There’s something fundamentally wrong. Spend the money on a proven product in our league or be okay with what we are imo. I’d pay Layne Kiffen one of the biggest contracts in the country and make him top three paid and get it done.

Please do not group Gus with Hugh and Harsin. Not even the same planet.

Gus started the downfall. Then he left and went to a program that was cruising (UCF) and ran them into the ground.

This isn't abnormal at all. Again, most coaches will fail. If that wasn't the case, you wouldn't see 'X' number of schools with money and resources failing each year.

Look at how many coaches Tenn went through before Heupel. Look at how many coaches Texas went through pre-Sarkisian. Look at how many coaches Florida is currently on post-Urban Meyer. Look at USC post Pete Carroll.

It should be an up to date defensive guy this time and let him hire a top current OC with a modern offense

This is where I’m at too. Schumann is an interesting one. Fully prepared for something dumb like Gundy though.

That’s your answer. Or make a run at Glenn Schumman

When is it Bama’s turn? They’ve had success since 2007. Insane.

Through OC / DC / Strength Coaches. Makes me puke it’s our instate rivals

Schumman is currently getting carved up by an offense that FSU pretty much shut down

Exactly and look where ole miss is as a program all time under a guy doing it currently in the same league. I agree most don’t make it but when one glaringly is in the same league and would be a step up for him to take the job you become accommodating.

I’d offer my wife to get Brent Key. He checks every box and could be poached

Yep, unless you’re poaching a proven winner. But we likely aren’t gonna be able to do that. I still think you make Lane say “no” one more time.

At this point, I'd take Muschamp and let him go out and get a real OC.
