Old people are much worse about being on their phones at the dinner table.

Middle aged to elderly as in age range. I’m well aware there’s a difference

Bro, you hate the gays. Even the CEO, millionaire alumn of your school that runs the world's leading electronics and software company. We get it.

I'm glad we don't have idiots like you in our PR dept that aren't willing to leverage that relationship to the benefit of the university. frick.......

Does not have anything to do with the Homosexual community. It has to do with using the best Alumnus for the job. This is like the mose AU AD Dept thing ever. Tim Jackson probably thought of this shite. Biggest game of the year, hell the last 4 years for that matter. Do we get one of our sports legends that understands what it means to play in a game like this? Nope some goofy white dude who designs electronic devices.

Based on your original response, there is no way this is true.

The job of standing on the field at the coin toss and being announced as honorary captain? Seriously, that is all being honorary captain is required to do.

Normally, former players that are honorary captains get asked to also give a pregame speech. That isn't always the case

Not sure why you can't process how being honorary captain doesn't make you the de facto speech maker

Do you actually think they are going to have him giving the speech to fire the team up? Please tell me you believe this.

An Auburn graduate is the head of the 9th largest company in the world. Proud to have Mr. Cook as the captain.

So sick of this narrative. I see just as many middle aged-elderly people with their nose in their phone as I do “youngsters”. But I guess blaming the youth for everything is the popular thing to do

1. I never said other people of other ages weren't obsessed.

2. The people to whom this thread is directly referring are the current players on the Auburn football team. I'm sure their ages range anywhere from 18 to 23.

3. Ergo, I was addressing people of that particular age.

4. Though I use my phone way more than I ever thought I would in my middle years, its the younger ages that use it in more ways than I can even imagine. What is a damn SnapChat anyways?

5. Back in the day when my son was still on my cellular phone plan, the text message numbers for the month would come in something like this... Me: 100, Son: 5100. Even though you may not want to admit it, there *is* a difference in use and degree between the younger generation and those of us of an age.

6. Stop being so goddam sensitive.

Wow... that single variance in the data totally blew my point out of the water, Mr. "Jalen Hurts is a bigger better Nick Marshall"!
