After we did such a great job at the UGA we are trotting out a polesmoker for Bama. I can't make up my mind if it is another great troll or a total bed shitting.

He's a billionaire and one of the more influential people in the world. He has no bad marks on his record and respresents the school well. I have no problem with him being the honorary captain.

You are easily the worst poster on this board.

Tim Cook is Auburns most famous and accomplished alumnus. The fact that we've only now started to recognize him is ridiculous

Its the biggest game of the year with possible Natty implications. So we run a skinny white dude into, the locker room to fire the team up Cause of his bank account? Hell I would rather they just replay the Joe Frazier post gsme interview from the 1994 AU VS UF game. So I guess Cook can explain to the team that he knows how they feel cause that Apple vs Samsung rivalry is crunk Btw dude I get an opinion just like you sorry you dont agree.

Most famous alumnus? Shite ask any gotdamn recruit or football player and Cam would be First on that list. Hell ask most Alumni and Cam, Barkley, Bo, Frank Thomas, Hudson, or ecen Duff would be named before Tim fricking Cook.

He is showing up to the coin toss to be recognized, who said anything about a Locker room speech?

Do you think people with honorary doctorates are also real doctors?

Yes. The CEO of Apple is more famous than the athletes you mentioned.

Famous is measured by more than football recruits. Tim Cook has global notoriety, something none of your listed alumni have. Only Barkley comes close to Cooks notoriety

Hell Tim Cook has 8x more twitter followers than Cam Newton

The honorary captains speak to the team pregame and get to lead the team in the singing of the fight song post game.

I doubt Auburn isn't putting the responsibility of pre game hype speech on Tim Cooks shoulders.

It seems thst they are.. every honorary captain has spoken to the team pregame. Carlos Rogers was honorary captain for UGA..

How many of those players do you think own and are (like any youngster these days) addicted to their iPhones?

Many honorary captains do speak pregame, but there is no reason that Auburn is forced to rely solely on Tim Cook to speak

This isn't some contract written in blood. It is a way to honor someone

So sick of this narrative. I see just as many middle aged-elderly people with their nose in their phone as I do “youngsters”. But I guess blaming the youth for everything is the popular thing to do

First, are you calling middle-aged people elderly or were you saying both middle-aged and elderly?

Secondly, my parents, in their 70's, are as bad as my teenagers with the phones.
