I listened to the whole video and didn't see anything about the first play

Did you read the correct article? CHF mentions it a few paragraphs down, and below it is the video of the play.

nevermind. I found it in the video thanks to Rocky. I must've accidentally fast forwarded.

But yes I did see the article.

Give Payton the keys, play with some tempo, do not protect the defense, win the game.

Wonder how the baby goat would be...LOL wonder if Hank the Tank has picked up any of the Offense. I guess former Porn Stash hasn't done that well but this off season either of the younger ones will need to step up or we have to hit the portal...Wish Hugh would have brought one of his from Liberty..

I have trouble envisioning why Thorne was able to throw for 5,000 yards the last two seasons.

The answer is a mix of new offense (for everybody on the team); new coaches, so many new players..

Another thing is that we have faced a brutal 4 game stretch with those circumstances - maybe the light comes on these next 4 and we take bama to a newly discovered woodshed.. can dream..

Meh, LSU and Ole Miss both have terrible defenses.

Even said I hoped Robby started the Ole Miss game where everyone could see the offensive problems aren’t just QB.

Maybe it's just me, but Ashford seems a bit slower and less dynamic with his legs than last season. Been a bunch of times where I thought he would easily get around his guy but is stopped close to the line of scrimmage.

Brown is the scout team QB he runs the other team’s offense each week. He doesn’t get reps in our offense that’s why it really sucks for QBs to go on scout team. I would suspect the walkons would play QB before Hank brown would this year

I’m saying you can’t replace a bad qb with a bad qb and find out anything except you do not have a good qb..

Regardless of what the play call was or wasn't, it was an absolutely atrocious read by Robby.
Yep... when in doubt you give to the back because he's a better runner than you and is more likely to make something out of nothing. Unless you're Cam Newton and the best short yardage back on the team.

Ashford didn't sit down and learn the new playbook in the offseason. He didn't take the time to learn how to apply touch to his passes ......he has none. He didn't grow and it shows......He is far from being the best QB in the system.
He needs to go where he'll cause problems for someone else. He's simply not growing into the role ..
