Wtf did you do to that thing? Weber’s never die

I have a cover for it but its on my deck and the entire bottom is falling apart. I think the rain is splashing up from the deck and got to the very bottom of it. Its all rusted out. I do a pretty good job of keeping the cover on it but we have used it a lot

I have rebuilt it a few times. Burners, flavor bars, etc. That is no problem. Mine has a cabinet and one of the doors is rusted off and the bottom where the drip pan hangs is rusting as well as the platform where the tank rests. Once I move it off the deck ( Mine is a 2nd story deck), I dont think it will survive the move off and then back on. Time to replace it. It is a 3 burner Spirit I believe.

Thinking about this guy

I love the Egg. I believe it’s worth the price based on the lifetime warranty it has and the versatility. That or Komodo Joe and you got a grill for life. If you got any questions about it let me know.

I have honestly just been avoiding getting one for some reason. I mostly just do quick stuff on the grill but we have started to venture out and do other things. Every friend I have has one and is cooking on it every weekend so I will probably just bite the bullet and get one once my deck is all coated and I get a new gas grill.

Laugh all you want. If we want to be elite on offense again with our coach, we will be a run first, power run team. Anything else will be mediocre.

However, I don’t think we are obligated to run inside zone after every single first down.

I have a Weber 26” kettle that I love. Thought about getting a Kamado Joe but wanted more cooking space, and couldn’t really justify spending $2500 on the Big Joe.

For a gas grill, that is hard to beat.

I use a 24" kettle.

Thinking about a Weber Genesis and maybe even getting a egg but I dont have a lot of knowledge about them.

I’ve had a MHP-WNK grill for years. Current one is bolted to the deck and is connected to my natural gas line. I’ve also had one on a cart w/ a tank. My dad has had his for 20+ years now. Made in ‘merica, killer warranty, and parts are easy to find/order and replace.

Get an Egg. Their HQ is like 20 miles from you. Great customer service. Cooks Warehouse does some great Christmas packages if you feel like waiting that long

or just write it off as a business expense

I grill at least 2x a week & my Weber hasn't been out of its cover for 4 years, since I got the egg. The egg can be pretty quick too, not just an all day thing. I can usually be cooking in 20 minutes, which is about the same for my gas grill.

I agree Jonesy, it has already permeated everywhere and there is a political board you can go to and bash each other. I include myself when I say that. I know I have made a comment or two when politics are brought up.

Let's stick to calling each other names and to FO because of an opinion on sports and other topics outside of politics, or for being an a-hole.

I still get a chuckle at your avatar with the wristbands and mustache I put on him, and the logos.

I stay out of most political discussions everywhere, it's just not fun. What is crazy now is what passes for politics now (i.e- mask wear).

I agree that we should just bitch about the state Jay Jacobs left Auburn Athletics and how dumb the new LED light shows will be on 3rd down.

I’m not a mod. They already deleted part of that thread. And that’s not the point. Let’s get away from the granular and focus on the bigger picture here.

I’m calling on us to be our own mods. It’s not hard not diffuse situations. It’s not hard to read something you don’t like and move on from it. Nobody is a hero for anonymously owning the idiot.

That’s fine, but traffic is a good thing IMO, regardless of opinion.

The Georgia board has a 174 page thread on coronavirus discussing all things politics, masks, vaccines, sickness etc. it’s been going since March and has 3500 replies. It draws people in. Meanwhile we’re pushing folks away by telling our own to go to the Poli board, even though sports aren’t happening and there’s clearly an elephant in the room known as the 2020 election and coronavirus.

Man I forgot about that, hopefully the budget cuts will stop that from happening.
