How about no????

You ok with Malcolm clowning on Auburn going out the door. He was beloved by 100’s of thousands of fans. He was paid bags of money and in reality didn’t do shite to help or change the program or even make any semblance of being even a good citizen.

All the deuce drama all year all the adding and removing his Auburn stuff. His comments on social media with other players leaving. Just leave. Or as should be you aren’t paid to talk. Just throw passes and catch passing and shut the frick up and leave without throwing shade at fans, a town, and university gave you that 10’s of thousands of high school players would kill just for the opportunity wear the uniform.

Maybe the process of treatment of college football players is not like it was when Kerryon Johnson, Aundray Bruce, Kenny Irons, (all great AU players), and others played.

Yea, thats not gonna happen. Not anymore. We are not talking about kids who transfered to be closer to home or a sick family member. These are hired hands who didnt do what they were hired to do.

How much did Auburn pay for those 30 transfers who managed to win 5 games last year? We are talking 3 rent-a-wins, Baylor and Arkansas. And yes, I do blame Freeze, I always will but they fricked it up as well. Just look at the iron bowl. Sorry but so many drops and fumbles. Thats on them

How about we just tell them to frick off and let Golesh see if he can do better. And in the meantime, you guys keep sending your lunch money to Auburn to fund this fine experiment.

Find a post by me that says the contracts were a year,….you will not be able to because it does not exist.

All of your knowledge comes from the GA/Mizzou story, so just admit you have zero, none, nada information on a single contract or anything written for Auburn players.

This is the kind of crap that negative recruiters love to use to show how “Auburn fans” treat players. Take a few phrases from all these posts and ask do you want to play for these fans:

- didn’t do shite

- just leave

- you aren’t being paid to talk

- shut the frick up and leave

There are selfish players, sure,……but how does it help us now to dump on them as they head out the door.?

The best way we can help Golesh and the players that stay is to get behind them and say Auburn is a great place to play,…..WDE.

Yeah yeah, we know he could likely do way better with the right QB, but...

Bro they are going to negative recruit against us anyway. Same as we should be against other teams.

I thought relationships matter but they don’t it’s all about money. Who gives the most or the best package over a year or 2 gets the player.

We can still be a friendly nice university and town but catering to these kids outside of what they can do for Auburn University on the football field then frick ‘em. Like I said don’t care about players anymore just gonna cheer for the name on the front of the jersey and logo on the helmet.

They will realize it but they will not accept it. They will just blame their bad mistakes on others and accept no responsibility.

He is the one who has pissed me off. Auburn took care of him when he was choking out his girlfriend and a lot of us spoke out in his defense and wanted him to get a chance and then he just heads out.

Should have left his ungrateful arse in jail.

Is this a bad time for Auburn to encourage all fans to subscribe for a generous monthly payment to the nil collective?

Yes, IMO, the best thing that could happen for college sports would be for a vast majority of schools to say frick it and form a cartel similar to OPEC. Refuse to pay ridiculous NIL basically reset the market.

We do sure have ‘a lot’ of ‘star’ players for a team that couldn’t beat eggs. Most of these guys are all hype. Xavier Atkins was most dominant player on either side of the ball and he’s back. He’s the kind of guy you want leading your program. An absolute stud with stats and plays to back it up.

yea they'll blame their lack of money on family for the cars they gave to their brothers, sisters, cousins and others. And failed business deals.

Though I never thought it was about relationships any more, I also do not thing it is all about money.

It is so easy for these guys to get money, I think its about the status of the program as well. Most of these guys can get the same money, or very close to it, at another program. If you are Deuce, are you staying at Auburn for 2 mil or are you going to TAM for 2 mil right now. Its a no brainer situation if you are not emotionally connected.

In the end, nobody wants to be a loser. No matter the consolation prize.

Yep but the question now is how do you find the stability and foundation to build towards that if firing a coach means you have to replace 20+ starters/ heavy rotation guys.

Cignetti is the only guy I can think of thats done something similar. I'm sure the attrition IU went through was a little different than ours but I still think we need to copy his step 1 and alot of you guys aren't gonna be level headed enough to get this. But he has to bring over a TON of his guys. I think the number of JMU guys Cig brought over was north of 20. And USF has some ballers. Maybe we dont need 20 bc Golesh's USF might not have been as good as Cig's JMU but he's got a war chest that Cig didn't have. Regardless we need all the best guys from USF. And you pray they come at a discount.

If this is true, seems like it’s a clean spit. I’m perfectly fine not paying Coleman north of $2 mil.
