Prime being announced would be enough for our class to finish itself and Auburn cherry pick the transfer portal all while he finished the JSU season

Freeze would be great at AU but the pearl clutchers have/would revolt. We're now quickly approaching desperation hire, google hire, no HC experience hire, whatever you want to call it.
Our roster is depleted so more than anything I care that we get some top 5 classes banked. For that reason I think Deion makes the most sense having whiffed on all of the top guys. Worst case scenario he pulls in top classes but can't coach and he's gone in a few years. Best case scenario he surrounds himself with talented coaches and has an unlimited ceiling.
Many of us thought the Malzahn extension was crazy - did anyone really think he was going to Arkansas? Then when we had to google Harsin's name we were really disappointed. I thought this go round we were going to finally have a "good" search but it didn't go how anyone expected. That said, roster quality is number 1, 2, and 3 in college football and there's one guy left on the coaching carousel board who I'm confident would bring in top classes.

I don't know how to link images but there's a screen shot from a Liberty site saying there's a team meeting scheduled for tomorrow morning where Freeze is expected to tell his team he is leaving for Auburn.

I think it would be a mistake to get Freeze.
