Fickell would be a splash from a national media perspective. It would be viewed as a huge hire for Auburn from national sports writers, he is one of the most respected coaches out there right now.

Serious question...how much access to social media do players have in the locker room after warmups? I would think they don't have phones on the on the sidelines, but what about halftime?
Could an announcement be made right around kickoff tomorrow? If the players don't have access to social media when the announcement is made, maybe it keeps it from being a distraction?
