I don't know what is going on but going from Kiffin to Freeze doesn't bother me at all. I personally think Freeze is equal as a coach but a much better fit personality wise. It's the baggage off the field that pushes Kiffin ahead in my book. I'll be fine with either

I think Lane did exactly what any coach would do. He gave his team hope that he's staying and left himself the escape hatch to leave that Saban & Tubs didn't.


If he was absolutely staying, he'd say that. He'd say he signed the extension.

I'm not flinching yet.

Good morning all!

From what I've heard, Auburn still feels pretty strong that everything is still on track, but it is still Lane Kiffin we're talking about. This does give off the impression that Kiffin is trying to survive today and to keep his team from throwing in the towel.

The Ole Miss On3 guy is already starting to hedge his statements this morning. He has reiterated that whatever message Kiffin gave last night was done so with an out for Kiffin to still leave.

What I know: Kiffin and Sexton wanted the Auburn job in 2020 when we hired Harsin. He has been in contact with us for a while now. I find it hard to believe that he all of a sudden changed his mind at the last minute. Auburn has done everything right here.

I get that optically that's going to be the narrative but in reality what is the difference between using prostitutes to show recruits a good time vs using hostesses? Getting kids laid on visits goes back to the Shug and Bear days so it's nothing new.
