The thing for me is he knows this is costing him goodwill and players and fans are frustrated. I do agree there is nothing he can say to convince people but he could sign the extension and this is over like stoops just did. Only one reason not to.

That’s cool and I realize our “insiders” have a less than stellar record. But the national guys aren’t going to report it until it’s official.
The thing that gives me confidence isn’t that any one specific best writer is saying it’s going to happen, it’s that all of them are… including OM own writers.
