The melt of their old coach kicking the ever living shite out of their new one might be fun too.

Well it's my opinion that serious consideration should be given to Coach Dave Aranda, presently the head coach at Baylor. He has proven SEC experience with LSU and is the 2021 Big 12 Coach Of The Year. Also Baylor just beat OU in Norman which very rarely happens. This would be a low risk and high reward choice as AU's coach.

He also got beat by West Virginia who isn’t that good, and BYU who got beat by the Fighting Freezes.

Beating Oklahoma this year should not be a yardstick for measuring a coach, they are hot garbage right now. Venebles has a lot of work to do.

Baylor SHOULD be at maybe one loss, I’ll give him OSU because they are solid this year…. Aranda has had some questionable losses this season.

Besides beating Bama twice almost a decade ago, what “big games” has Freezus won?

You talking about the guy who has the number 19th ranked team in the country at a program that is in its 4th year of FBS?

“If you take away his big wins, what big games has he won?”

Always a weird argument to me.

It's the same argument as if you take away Saban's National Championships he's never won one

Almost as weird as “but he’s never beaten Bama” as an argument against someone.

You judge a guy’s ability to handle a job by weighing all of his qualifications. IMHO, Kiffin >>>>>> Freezus.

He beat pretty much every significant coach in the SEC at least once while at Ole Miss. Some of them he beat multiple times. He beat Kirby.

He beat a P5 team (Virginia Tech) in his 2nd season at Liberty. Two games later he lost by 1-point to an 8-win NC State team. He beat Jamey Chadwell and an 11-win Coastal Carolina team to conclude that season.

This season he has beaten Arkansas and killed BYU (BYU beat Baylor, by the way) and they lost by 1-point in OT against what was at the time a Top 15 ranked Wake Forest team.

He is 5-2 in Bowl games.

The man is an extremely good coach.

Freezus won a sugar bowl… something auburn hasn’t done in almost 20 years.

He also beat the dogshit out of Kirby in 2016.

It’s amazing that people still can’t see how good of a coach and recruiter Freezus is.

Just because of the money involved I think Kiffin is a riskier choice. You could load a Freeze contract with some morality clauses etc and he’d still come he wants the job so bad.
I'm just not wanting to risk the program on a coach that literally only focuses on running the ball and nothing else. It's why his fans only want to compare morals when comparing him and Freeze.

I used to be anti Freeze, couldn't keep ignoring the strong evidence for Freeze once presented

If his time at Liberty does not convince people he is a good coach, nothing will.

He beat Arkansas with less talent the season after losing the best QB in program history
