Yea man she has been great. My wife lets me sleep at night most of the time because I work every day. The little one is a month old now and has been sleeping 4+ hour stretches at night. Thanks for consistently checking up on us. It truly means a ton and it really touches me that you ask me often.

People comparing Harsin to Deion are on a different atmosphere

As are people acting like coaching at Jackson State is the same as coaching at Auburn and in the SEC. As with claiming he won't lose because he says he's a winner a thousand times a day.

I'm sure they would much rather be winning games than have a high ranking recruiting class.

Well, we have neither.

Gus was in the top 12 every year he was at Auburn until his last.

Except Napier is filling needs, not just signing 4* athletes.

None of this is disproving my points about Deion.

Just because we have neither doesn't mean settle for anyone that talks right and ignore the details behind their numbers. You can pick about any successful D1 coordinator and win 4 games if just being better than now is all that matters.

Some folks have “it” and some don’t. Deion has been successful in everything he has done.
Probably the most ludicrous thing I read today.

The totality of his college coaching experience is coaching 2 years at an FCS school. Congrats on winning on winning the SWAC last year, I guess.

Was the charter school he founded successful? Ummmm.....
LINK

Think about it. You are basically saying he would be a homerun hire, based on 2 years of coaching in a division that FBS schools have been scolded for scheduling. On top of that, he's coaching in a weak FCS conference. His team is currently undefeated, yet there are teams with 2 losses ranked ahead of his.

Hoping and wishing is one thing, but there is absolutely no evidence that he would be a successful coach at the highest level of college football, and in the toughest conference.

The teams he's played as a whole have only won 38% of their games this year. The team he barely beat last week 22-17 got blown out by Liberty 48-7. So he's not dominating quality teams or to a level that others havent.

How dare you bring facts into this discussion! This is all about "feels" and subjective terms like "it factor".

It doesn't matter. Auburn isn't going to consider Sanders.

I’ve remained patient with the timing of firing Harsin, but wtf are we doing now? How has he not been fired today?

I would have thought today would have been the day. No way they make a new AD fire him on his first week. Unless they’re waiting for the off-season

Maybe the tater tots (assistant coaches) said if harsin goes we all go and they are worried about having a staff on the field. Just a thought.

This is where I am. Team has quit. Coaches have quit. Fans are quitting. It’s time to move on.
