He won’t beat Bama. He will finish with 6 wins, possibly beating Arkansas and A&M and then we will lifetime contract his arse.

Even if he lucks up and beats bama it won't matter. He'll just be going out with a bang.

Let’s pump the breaks on Ole Miss, their best win was against Kentucky who has yet to play UT or UGA and both Auburn and LSU have had down years.

Both UK and OM have benefited from the traditionally stronger programs (UF, AU, LSU, UT) being down in recent seasons.

meh. not sure how i feel about this. is he actually trying to save his job now or just his reputation for future gigs? or both? definitely weird considering everything we've heard about his lack of participation in these kinds of things in the past. i guess the off-week makes him feel like he is freed up to do these sorts of things?

Why do we care what color a coach is?

I do think we are under the impression that black coaches are better recruiters. I find zero evidence to say that is true.

Taking to twitter to complain about a long day, that was your first day doing all of your job duties, after being in the job just short of 2 years? Not a good look, while also admitting he can't handle the grind of SEC life

Ole Miss has benefited from a weak schedule. If we would of had their schedule a lot of people would not want to be getting rid of Harsin.

People say this, but we struggled with Mercer and SJSU.

Who is the #1 recruiter in the country, and has been for a long arse time?

A white boy from West Virginia.

He stole recruits from our own back yard, one was a legacy at Auburn. He pulls players from any State in the country. Even Hawaii. Sure he misses on a few here and there, but when was the last time he signed a class not ranked at least 4th?

At the end of the day, if you can consistently put a bunch of player in the NFL, and contend for championships, 90% of getting a recruit is just making the offer.

I understand the sentiment about Ole Miss.
But as of today, its just wrong.
It isn't arguable at this point to say they are closer than we are.
Further, it is factually inaccurate to say that they have the same shot of winning an SEC championship as we do.

This isn't 1999. Its not even 2019. I think Lane is likely the right choice, but I think the notion that we can just go get him if we want it is quite misguided.

I get it. Saban is the goat. But he paid the shite out of people when he first arrived to overcome the stank of Shula, Debose, etc. No human will willing live in Tuscaloosa AL without a monetary incentive. That's why Saban is so pissed at NIL and the transfer portal. He sees what is coming.

We have been really poor at managing our resources. You can win a title at AU. That is the upper floor for all programs. We don't have limitations. One of you in here thinks we are UAB compared to OSU, UA, etc and that's not true. We rekt ourselves every time we are on the cusp of a dynasty run.

You should start a thread about reviewing Saban's resume. So we should only hire an old whiteboy?
