I’ve been hesitant to pay much attention to what BSU fans have thought about Harsin. They somehow seem to be more unreasonable than Auburn fans and expect every coach to be at least as good as Petersen.

He did a great job adjusting in the second quarter and gave them hell

Very good up front but the DBs have a long way to go to play on an island all game every game. But if they can get pressure like they did tonight maybe it doesn't matter.

Good to Baby Kat come so close but can't close the deal all night.

That was such a Gus game. Look unprepared. Start out getting your arse beat, then come back. Fun to watch, but man am I glad he is at UCF.

I feel the same way. I definitely had “ive seen this movie before” feelings throughout the game and for once I didn’t care about the outcome so it was exciting to watch. I’m glad for him, I think it’s a good spot where he can let loose without a ton of pressure. I’m also glad for us lol.

Really? I felt like we usually came out and looked awesome on the first drive then did nothing for three and a half quarters and then score at the end to make it a little closer or look better but ultimately frustration and disappointment.

It was amazing how easily I was able to call most of that game last night. I've watched that game play out over and over again.

UCF put up almost 600 yards of offense.

They looked good. The most impressive thing to me was how well their D played in the second half.

We need to keep in mind this isn’t a QB that Gus has had a chance to ruin. Give it another year

YEah. This QB is like a Transfer in reverse. Gus is the transfer, and so his QB will play well.

I had to laugh coming on this thread for the first time, and seeing all the posters jumping with glee seeing Gus team get pummeled for 1 and 1/2 quarters to start the game, thinking he was going to get blown out.

THen just like Gus has always done, he puts up a lot of yardage, wins the games he's suppose to win, and then win a real big game every now and then, and win a bunch of ball games.

This league fits him. I think he can do well here.

It will be interesting to see how they do if UCF is invited to join the Big12 like its being rumored.

Last...how many of you really wanted Gus to win, lose, or IDK?

I actually want him to be successful. He's a good guy, just didn't need to be our guy for 8 years...

He might be a good guy. I wasn’t a fan of him, his personality always annoyed me, the way he acts on the sidelines, etc. He’s just not a like able guy for me.
I don’t like that people kind of shite on Auburn for moving on from him, so that part of me wants him to get exposed even more. UCF is easy to dislike too
