I do find it very odd he had a "no contact" yet it appears he is still looking around. That tells me that whatever he had planned fell through.

He did much better this year, but he is just too inconsistent of a thrower to be a great QB. Lots of factors that play into that, some his fault and some out of his control.

Bo could go play anywhere in the country outside of about 5-8 schools. Y’all act completely dumb to what coaches think they can do with talent. You take the talent and always think you can help mold it. Plus in reality Bo has 1 or 2 seasons. That’s a lot of time for growth in a system that has talent around him.

I never thought he was seriously considered at a SEC team.
I figured he would wind up at an out of conference school for sure. Crazy that he would try to make a big thing about transferring when he should just do it.
Kid is an athlete with abilities to win. Yet he's not good enough to replace an incoming five star freshman in my opinion.
I wish him and his family the best. I hope Auburn never has to play him. Sucks he ended the career the way he did but it's probably best now that everyone moves on... Including fans

I think Bo and Pat overestimated Bo's value to teams as a QB that relies on his legs but has a serious leg injury requiring surgery. Pat trying to sweeten the pot offering to be a coach in some capacity didn't work either. If Jimbo, Pat's QB coach at Auburn, took another transfer QB instead doesn't sound good. Nix should look at Nebraska as an option if he wants playing time

This rumor sounds quite plausible to me. Jimbo talked at length about Bo and coaching Pat in his weekly radio show leading up to the AU/A&M game, and while that doesn't mean anything in and of itself, I found it interesting at the time. I wondered if Bo might end up at A&M ever since the transfer announcement. Pat and Jimbo do have a relationship.
If an announcement isn't made this weekend-ish, or if he announces to some directional school or whatever, I think it's pretty safe to say that whatever "plan A" was (A&M or otherwise), it didn't pan out.
Gonna be interesting, but in a sort of a "hmm", then go back to reading my newspaper sort of way

Other than already having a private deal with another school already worked out, why would a player put a "do not contact" on their transfer portal profile? I can't think of one.
