bc they kept DJ in there most of the 2nd half, I guess bc he is a better blocker.

I think Tank got dinged up on a tackle.

re: Bo Nix's Accuracy
Over a period of 40 years experience in playing, coaching and officiating, I've given in to one reliable conclusion. When considering all the player, coach and officiating mistakes ...one thing and one thing only is the deciding factor. The score on the scoreboard when the time expires. But there are valuable lessons to be learned.

Nix learned that a muffed or fumbled snap that hits the ground removes the protections of the spike. He learned that spiking the ball behind his feet is not a good part of the thought process.

The White Hat learned to always, always expect the unexpected and never ever anticipate. He also learned to swallow his whistle when in doubt. It is nothing until he calls it. (There is actually a Tee Shirt for Baseball and Football Officials to remind them of this simple rule.

The SEC learned that you can only call what is presented to you in replay. The fumbled snap, the spiked ball behind or forward, coupled with the White Hat inadvertent whistle and no immediate recovery .. simply becomes an illegal forward pass, loss of down five yards from the point of infraction. Reduce the time by 10 seconds. Snap, kick ,,,,,,and regardless of arm chair quarterbacking, the score on the board with all zeros is the outcome of the game.

The crap about an Auburn loss and an Arkansas victory is nothing more than fantasy. Auburn won and the matter is settled. There are no participation trophies.

He should have had a few more, this and last year. He routinely forces his throws and throws into tight coverage. If he was more accurate, he'd have twice as many INTs. There's your silver lining.

EDIT: Should have been a turnover last week, and lost the game. All on Nix.

He has been very reckless with the ball for sure. I think he has rode a thin line on some of the non turnovers. Things could have been much worse

And I dont know the answer about practice. It must be that Gus just wasnt concerned about his technique. I doubt he is that much different in practice. Gus needs to address it.

We've seen it all year. If Gus isn't addressing it already, then he a far worse coach than I thought. If he is addressing it, then the coaching isn't working and he'd better be looking for another QB.

Bo makes Jeremy Johnson’s first half against Arkansas looks like Jeremy should be writing his speech for his NFL HOF induction.

Well, that’s an upside I suppose.

Of course that is assuming that he actually “learned” and won’t do it again...

WE just need to be honest. This entire TEAM is bad. That is not to say that some individuals are not showing glimpses, but as a team --- they are stinking it up.

Bo is playing poorly, just like most of the team is.
