Finley has to hit that deep ball. Can't overthrow the dude by 10 yards. Hudson was clear by 2-3 yards on his guy.

Ever throw that pass? Thought not. Maybe with no one else on the field. The moment he let go, I could tell it was incomplete. You don't throw that on a rope.

How can three Officials with one job to do, miss something so blatant as the screwed up snap? Ref (White Hat) Umpire and "C" official.

False start by Finley (he's moving forward) and these guys are picking their butts. There is no decline on that one. It is at the snap. Should have been five yards and try again.

Projected by whom, some random draft site? Sherwood went in the 5th round last season and he's a much better player and NFL prospect. The problem with Smoke is that he can't cover anything, and you're trying to project him into the pass-happy NFL as a safety? Sherwood was a much better tackler and could project to LB - Smoke can't. He's not even a particularly good tackler either. I think he's a late round pick at best.

I'm really not that shocked. He's tall/long and also fast which the NFL loves. Could also be a big special teams contributor. But yea to your point I think he has better odds of falling out of the 4th than moving up.

Did you just disagree with me and then agree with me in the same string of consciousness?

Hudson after the play. Patted his chest like it was his fault.
He knew he could have done a little better job of at least dragging his foot while attempting to catch it.
He was well covered and the window was small.

Haha, I think he did. I read it like 5 times trying to figure out what was happening.

People get so emotional in the game threads they can't think straight.

AA7 expected him to catch the ball while looking up and know where the sidelines was. What a dumbass

He's tall/long but I don't think he's particularly "fast". Even if he was fast it doesn't really matter because he has SO much tape of him being completely lost in coverage. It's incredibly difficult to project to the NFL where teams are abusing TE and RB routes as well as exotic 3+ receiver sets. I just can't imagine any NFL team falling in love with the "2 plays out of 10 he'll deliver a successful big hit or make a play on the ball" type play that he brings.

Yeah well he isn’t at fault. I’ll never say he is at fault when he is catching a ball headed for out of bounds on an over the shoulder catch.

For three years - Jang: It's not Bo's fault. It is the OL. Seth and Schwartz suck. It's the OL. Hudson and Robinson suck

For TJ's three games - Jang: QB sucks arse.

Never change, Jang.

In that image the ball should be a little lower and I closer to his hands at that moment. Shitty pass. ??

Well his stats are even worse than Bo’s. What are you saying? Are you saying Finley doesn’t suck?

I’ll Trust Hudson over u for whose fault contributed.

Not blaming Hudson either but a really good WR practices that all the. Some are better at it than others.

Its not exactly like the OL or WRs have done either one of them any favors.

But Finley is terrible.

I asked a question. Have you ever thrown that pass in a game with a defender between you and the receiver? You don't throw that on a rope, air under the ball to give the receiver a chance to run under it. If you've got the distance right he catches in stride. If not he has the play on the ball.

Finley lacks touch. If they can teach him to ease up on deep balls to give the receiver a chance ....maybe we win a few next year. The most difficult thing to do is judge the speed of a receiver, running away from you, the speed of your pass and the spot you are throwing to . The better option is loft not a rope .....

I am saying you move the goal post on why our QB sucks. Glossed over the fact Bo was fricking terrible, yet have no issues saying TJ is terrible.

No. A difficult pass and an even more difficult catch. But AA7 from 4A thinks all players should be able to catch it.

Maybe TJ sucks. Maybe he will figure it out. I just hope we don't take 3 seasons to figure it out like Bo.
