I think we’re done. Magwood failed and I get it. Him getting 0 minutes here while you let Muschalek eat what may have made a difference, meh.

Pettiford wtf

If the rumors are true and he’s out partying all the time, would let the teammates take care of it and fine him like Dion is doing.. He hasn’t looked good at all; worse than last year

To Age myself, can they not run the offense through Keyshawn Hall, like the ‘92 Bulls did with Jordan?

At this point anyone else would be an upgrade.... even just an offensive shooter.... teams simply wait for him and grin.

The guy is playing 35-36 minutes every night now, or at least until Magwood gets outta the dog house. He’s gonna be chopped by March.

Hey Steven,

Down 4 and in the bonus we failed to drive to the basket on back to back plays... that's not very smart ball.

And we couldn't rebound and still continued to toss up bad 3's after bad 3's after more bad 3's, which is also not very smart ball.

Plus we're not improving our inbounding and everyone know's it. And this also not very smart ball.... And not playing smart get's you beat more times than not.

And whatever Magwood did at some point your pride needs to take a backseat to the health and needs of your team. Because it's beginning to look like someone needs to remind you in public. And because last night it probably got us beat. And again how smart is that?

(eta: and please look up and face the screen)

46-30 rebounds deficit.

Hard to overcome.

7 of 31 threes.

At this point, I’m not sure we can shoot our way out of whatever this shooting slump is.

14 of 20 FTs, not horrible, but not what you need on the road.

Guard play lost this one. The shooting was dreadful. We had a shot and we missed wide open shots.

Then we had a phantom foul.

Gotta beat Alabama.

Tahaad took eleven 3’s last night and missed 9 of them. He can’t be expected to play aggressive defense all game, and still have the stamina to shoot well late in games when he‘s only getting 3-5 minutes of Muschalek off the bench as his only breather. He’s playing too many minutes and until that situation gets better, he’s going to continue to struggle from the field.

Yall are making a mountain out of a mole hill over Pett's minutes. Many PGs have done his minutes at a high level. It's a testament to conditioning levels.

This is only a discussion because Pett's shot has been shite all year long. So has the team's 3 point shooting.

I don’t disagree.

If we make more shots, they get less rebounds.

Certainly we miss Johni and Dylan upfront, but this team really misses Denver. I thought maybe Freeman could develop into some of that role.

Overton is kind of the Miles Kelly role.
Not quite as good shooting.

I have to remind myself that last year’s team was a historic final 4 team with an NBA draft pick, a true defensive BIG, and role players who just fit great together.

I’m hopeful we can make the NCAA TOURNAMENT this year, but I’m excited to watch SWA, Jovic, and Freeman develop for next year.

Any reports regarding Hall’s finger?
I assume it’s sprained or broken.

If we take those out, team is still 5 for 20.

I’m trying to look at the bright side.

Even though we shot poorly, we were in it deep into second half on the road against a good team.

The loss that bothers me most was the meltdown at home versus A&M. No excuses.

I thought we played pretty decently last night other than shooting the three. I had company over though and expected an L.

It is what I said BEFORE the game.

If it was so terrible - remove him from the team. Otherwise sit him a few games and then get him back in rotation.

Coach knows best only works when you have years of experience (like Bruce).

Hall played the same amount of minutes.. why does Petti get the stamina excuse?

Yes, we all would have taken 2/3 of @UF, @UT, and Bama. That's still there for us and we should be rested going into it. No excuses.

What's the point in supporting the hire if you're only going to pick and choose how he can run the team.

Magwood wasn't much of a player before he was in the doghouse. You need to remember he entered the doghouse after losing the job to Muschalak and that's when he called Pearl a bitch.

Yep, he's a 19-20 year D1 athlete playing 2 games a week. Also, it's not like his struggles only come at the end. He's just not playing good basketball.
