Yaxel seems to be getting predicted to go early to mid 2nd round in most mocks drafts, so be interesting to see if he comes back for another year.

I would like to know the full story on Pegues. I mean surely he had something to offer this team in a backup role. He showed enough before the season to warrant a starting spot after all. He (1) very clearly lost confidence at some point early, and (2) looked overmatched against stronger opponents. It could be that 1 contributed to 2 in a big way, or maybe he was just exposed as playing above his level. Was he shut down to give the other guards all the minutes? Or did he quit? Was playing CMB at backup point really a better option that Pegues when Denver was out?

I'm also very curious. There is obviously a gap between his previous school and Auburn but it's crazy to me that he couldn't get any minutes at all.

Ive seen highlights against quality competition from his lesser school. He did good albeit sometimes in losing efforts but he also had winning efforts...I dont understand it.

Same, he went from being the guy that’s a dog and one to count on to close a game out to being completely unprepared for this level of competition. UF also went after him so there was clearly something to like there.

Not in the portal, and with how his coach is talking about his recruitment, I’m not sure we pay out what he could get offered.
