If Broome had won player of the year, then he would have gotten a bump up in the timetable since that is essentially the Heisman for basketball players.
If either one earns a statue, it will be decades before it happens, and after millions in donations and public service like Charles.

For just what he did at Auburn, not really. But taking his entire life/career into account (NBA 50th and 75th anniversary teams; 11 time all star; 5 time 1st team All NBA; NBA MVP; hundreds of thousands given to AU; amazing post playing career as a studio analyst for the NBA and March Madness)
