Really hope that this isn’t our answer for the 5. He might be a decent player off the bench.

7 footer that can shoot...and he was like defensive player of year in his conference? Good pick-up, right?

Don't know much on him but from what I read, extremely raw with loads of upside...and 3 years of eligibility. Love that he actually develop and not just be 1 and done.

With somebody who knows bball, is this a big time pick-up?

Upside is through the roof. Has a 7’8 wingspan.

Put up 9.4 ppg 8.1 rpg, 2.6 rpg while only playing 22 minutes per game.

I imagine that was for Emeka.

I don't know about big-time, but it's a solid pickup for our backup center position with tons of room for growth. Just need to get him to put on 40 pounds over the next year or two and he could be eventually be a big-time pickup.

As long as he's not the starter it's a good pickup (can't imagine he would be). Murphy as the starter and this guy backing him up is a solid position at the 5. We'd just need another guy at the 4 (assuming no Chaney) unless we are going small ball mode with Hall at the 4, then we'd need a good wing.

Probably need a 2 and another big doesn’t have to be tall but someone 6’8”-7’ that has a big body that can bang around some.

That or a 5 that can score.

So far some good additions but I definitely wouldn’t say this is a top 15 roster. Gonna need some hard coaching

Yea I think Murphy is more of a 4, so probably need a starter at the 5. Murphy can provide plenty of depth there, but if the plan would be him starting at the 5 with Opurum backing him up, we'd need a power guy at the 4 for sure.

Any chance Sebastian Williams-Adams will be ready to play the 4 as a freshman?

That would be my guess is that he backs up Murphy. I doubt he starts. He is a good player though.

He's already 6'7-6'8 about 230 with a really long wingspan... I'm sure he will

He’s a back up. We need a 6-11 starter, PG and shooter

Murphy is the starter at the 5 with Emeka and Scott as his back ups. Hall and Adams will be the 4's. I expect us to go back to the style we played with Chuma as a 4 and McElmore the 5. Up and down track meets. I expect we'll try to add one more combo guard and call it a day

Committed to Purdue I believe. Hopefully we hold onto Chad or that one may sting

I agree with you on Murphy being a 5, he can’t shoot the ball and if you play him at the 4 with a 5 that also can’t shoot it severely limits you offensively. I’m hoping the staff is still trying to add a stretch 4
