Holding penalties, missed throws, a big drop, 5 sacks. Not sure we can play worse this half

Their DL is as good as advertised and eating up our OL. It would have been great to have that wheel route TD for sure but it is what it is. We need to give him some short throws screens etc coming out.

We need a darn spark. If we need to run then put in RA. He can throw deep. Or just put in Holden. Give him a shot...he will probably be the guy next year.

Agreed it’s not the play calling. Thorne throwing like crap and then the OL collapsing on pass plays as well.

I'm thinking you weren't around for the Jeremy Johnson/Clint years. I'm no Thorne apologist, but we've had a lot, lot worse. Let me know when he throws a backward pass.

I think we have to ride with this clown for now. Down 3 and get the ball. If we put Ashford in, you can bet they will change the defensive front and make us one demential. We just need Thorne to make a few throws and the Oline to give him a little more protection

Player issues
Those complaining about the coaches really should consider watching another sport.
Thorne is not even looking at the other side of the field, when players are open he is going to the ole pat and wait routine (on timing routes), if they are not open then throw it or run dont stand there patting the ball.
He never should have thrown that pitch, hear scoop and run, he could clearly see it blown up, and he injured our own player in the process.
Skying passes and missing a TD, darn near getting a receiver cut in half.
Just put in Geriner. If Thorne is this rattled I dont think he is settling down at this point, he has had a half to do it to no avail.

Their backup is Max Johnson, former LSU starting QB and AM’s tarter last year until he got injured and lost the job to Weigman.
