Another question why is Auburn always the first to go on the road in these home and homes?

securing the 4 million gives us the funds to travel to Notre Damw

That's the only thing I can think of.

Travel, accomodations, tickets (AU probably has to front the $$$ for the visitor allotment and then recoup by selling the portion not used for AUMB, VIPs) etc. would get expensive.

Auburn fans going to this game will pay out the arse but it might be worth it

Well since Georgia won’t agree to host us two years in row to fix the Alabama/Georgia games being both homes games now in odd years the SEC created, it makes sense for Auburn to host the marque non-conference match up on even years to help the home slate look better and thus help with ticket sales

I really need this new coach to be good.

2028 is a dream schedule. Need the team to be good to enjoy it though.

Not believing 2028 will happen until I'm watching the eagle fly from JHS ramp pre-game.

Great job Cohen. He said on the radio that they were working on something big with scheduling. No lies told.

I will always pull against:

- Notre Dame, unless they're playing Jawja,
- Jawja, unless they're playing Satan and his minions.

Maybe it's the proximity of living in Atlanta, but I hate Jawja more. In 25 years of going to football games, by far the most obnoxious behavior I have seen is from Dawg fans. Can only bring myself to hate 'Bama one day a year. Jawja is 24/7 365.

Cohen has already proven he will screw a home schedule for money. Once ESPN and the Peach Bowl committee see this upcoming match-up they will throw Auburn a ton of money to get this game as the kick-off game in 2028. I wouldn’t get my hopes up if seeing this in Jordan Hare!
