Why does the national media hate this Auburn team?

Looking at ESPN's NCAAM page this morning our win at Rupp against No. 17 Kentucky to secure the outright SEC title (and first win there in 37 years) doesn't make the top headlines list.

UK Robinson's injury makes the headline list.

It’s still great to be King.

Just keep winning.

Mix of hating Bruce and we aren’t an approved basketball program. It’s so sad to watch every year.

If you have Siriusxm listen to channel 84. For the last 5 weeks or so they have all been slobbering about us.

It is definitely worth it to catch the last segment of Field of 68 After Dark and the "Afters" segment. They talk Auburn at the end of the show, and played an interview with Chad during the afters. The Chad interview, with cameos from other guys, was great.

Came across a clip from the show if you haven't seen it and have like 10 minutes to spare. These guys are having a blast playing ball right now. At the end of the day the goal is to win, but if you're winning and not having fun doing it, then what's the point?

CBM interview starts around 5:40-5:45. Something like that.

ESPN loves Bruce. That is one of the things that helped launch us when he came on board.

Damn, Chaney still has a year? That's great news.

Might be wrong, but I think that's still a big question compared to CBM and Denver.

Yeah Chaney’s is still a bit up in the air since he was D2 and not Juco. Someone in Wisconsin this year got an injunction and was able to play an extra year transferring from D2. AL.com

Bruce said in that presser they will "go through the process" of seeing whether Chaney could qualify for another year. At this point, it's all you can ask for. I think it's a good sign the staff is willing to looking into it, Chaney must be at least open to the possibility.

I was talking to a buddy whose son just finished his senior year playing football at Duke. Didn't get much pt until his last year and his dad said he has a lawyer and is pursuing a fifth year and there is talk in those circles they are considering giving a fifth year to everybody. No clue if/when it will happen but thought it was interesting
