In the most recent episode of the The Solid Verbal Andy Staples was a guest and he noted:

“The fact that they have not been active in the transfer market makes me believe that they feel that they have somebody. Maybe that’s Bo Nix, the incoming FR. They had an opportunities, they could have gotten Austin Kendall out of OU. I think that tells me they have someone.”

From a talent standpoint... when they get off the bus the look like LSU, an Alabama or Georgia. I don’t they are that far away. They have good players, it’s a matter of getting chemistry right.”

Or Gus realized we already have a whole stable of unproven qbs. Why add another one?

I’m sure Austim was developed and coached well by Lincoln Riley. He got 3 years behind some other great college QBs to learn from as well.

More than we can say for Willis, Nix or Gatewood. The only possibilities at Auburn.

I mean, I understand the thought but the fact that OU went out and chased Jalen Hurts makes me skeptical

Riley has survived on transfer qbs, can’t develop a high school kid

You OK? Sorry I had her busy last night. Went to see what seemingly was my "dreamed" life story. Ended up sucking so I guess I have that to look forward to.

Are people seriously doubting that this is a statement of fact? Kyler Murray and Baker Mayfield absolutely improved while at OU especially compared to how they looked at their original teams. OU had back to back Heisman winners at QB, he gets credit for that.

So Cam and NM weren’t better qb’s at Auburn than they were at their previous schools?
If we are giving Riley credit then we have to give Gus credit too.
