There is literally a thread by pm on 247 saying "Mason leaves"
Unfortunately, we have at least one more year of Mason’s 3 man front defense

Im fine with Austin Davis especially if he is a good qb coach and developer. Trovon Reed is becoming our Dell McGee.

247 reports that Cadillac's contract, which was originally set to expire next month, has been extended. Y'all can probably forget about Dell McGee.
Also, details of Kiesau's contract (as WR coach) have been released: It was only a 4-month contract, and expires 1/31/22. Harsin and the University definitely keeping their options open with regard to Kiesau's role for 2022.
I still maintain that Trovon Reed to WR Coach and Kiesau to OC/QB Coach is, and probably has been, the backup plan.

interesting info. thanks for looping us in.
i'm hoping we bring in Davis for the OC/QB coach role, but i guess i wouldn't be surprised at this point if it ends up being Kiesau

Lanier and Chex are gonna grumble because insiders “don’t know nothin” but here is your final OC update.
From JGT
Seattle Seahawks assistant Austin Davis has accepted an offer to become the Tigers’ next offensive coordinator. It’s believed to be a two-year deal.
Other details are being worked out.
Harsin spoke with Davis four times including a marathon Zoom call Monday night. The Auburn coach also spoke with Seattle head coach Pete Carroll and Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson during the course of this dalliance.
The hire is scheduled to be announced tomorrow.

Dang if that is true congrats on new OC CAD. CBH digging deep if he is talking to Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson.

Austin Davis tomorrow lines up with pretty much everything we’ve heard for the past week or so

this sounds awesome, CBH doing work.
obviously Russ is super talented and has been very good wherever he's been, so it's not like Davis has made him who he is, but the fact he's worked with such a high profile guy, and if Russ co-signs him, i'm all on board.
