That would be a great hire. Like most, I would not bet against Zak Hill (Boise Connection). None seem like homerun hires.

New name from AULIVE: Dameyune Craig

T-Will, DC, Dell. Get em on staff let's get some talent. If they can't coach we can hire a new guy to come in and coach the talent.

If Craig is even considered, it's all about recruiting then, with Harsin doing the playcalling.

It must not be Zak Hill, bc Harsin would have no reason to wait to announce it.

I can see him waiting till after Saturday's games for Ludwig or Kittley, since both have teams playing then.

You see, this is what happens when you let the tail wag the dog. You hire someone like CDC because of recruiting as if we love the game of recruiting, not football.

I don’t like it. Bring McGee if this is the case.

Not saying Craig couldn’t do it but you think Harsin is going to hire a guy that’s never called plays.

shite hire me I’ve called plays before and I love Auburn. I’d recruit my arse off and I rarely sleep so I could be on my phone and I would even load Twitter, IG, and snap

With that being said I expect Ludwig to be at least the front runner

At this point, names are being thrown out there for clicks

Yeah you can have football without a splash recruiting class. Just don’t make stupid football moves because of recruiting. If DC comes he needs fo be a position coach

Sounds like they are just fishing for more clicks.

Craig makes way more sense than McGee. McGee has no offensive background whatsoever - he barely even coaches an actual position (RB's - there's not much to coach there).

Craig played QB and has spent 6 years under Jimbo Fisher - an offensive coach. Fisher runs an adapted pro-style offense that is similar to what Harsin runs/wants to do. Furthermore, the positional fit actually makes sense: you could slot Kiseau over to QB's and have Craig coach WR's. Or have Craig at QB while Harsin shadows. Dell McGee makes zero sense unless you want to fire/replace Cadillac.

If you want some sort of recruiting boost, then Craig actually makes sense. He can also be "babied" as a play-caller with Harsin and Kiseau both have experience calling plays.

These boards and names are never accurate. I suppose this could be the first time but I’m doubtful

Agreed and I've never like Craig much after it seemed he was trying to hide Duke Williams troubles. Duke wasn't happy and he seem to do everything in his powers to make him stay and to make the Auburn fans think he was happy. I'll never forget the staged photo he took with Duke.

I'm sure I am wrong but I just don't see Harsin taking a chance on an OC that hasn't called plays before just for the sake of recruiting.

You think CDC brings this as OC?

You act like I’m against recruiting when I’m not.
