Wow.. what planet are you living on? Darius Slayton will have an All-SEC type season this year and by far our best deep threat.

Sometimes I worry I'm watching a completely different game or reading different reports than some of y'all...

Ryan Davis and Darius Slayton will be Auburns leading receivers once again

I just cant agree with you here. He was by far our best deep guy. For a while.

Personally, I dont think NCM has played bad. But in our offense, he is just not going to get a lot of opportunities down field. Slayton has been money down field and Ryan Davis is by far the best catch and go guy.

Toss in a few catches for Hastings and the backs, it just does not leave a lot of balls thrown to NCM. Its a great problem for us. Lots of guy who can be thrown to.

I have not said anything negative. Just saying I am not gong to fap over a bunch of unproven running backs till they show some stuff on the field of play. Been there done that.

I have some high hopes for Martin and it seems that Whitlow has some potential. Hoping but we will see.

Never really felt great about Malik Miller. Honestly dont know a lot about Asa.

So....Calvin Ashley just had to go to the hospital. Injury to the head/neck area. Discharged now...so not as serious as they may have thought...still....

The Ref in that gif was my Uber driver once. I almost made him go around the block a few times because we were in a pretty involved conversation when we hit my destination. He talked about that 15 yarder he threw on Muschamp and some of the other personalities around the SEC. He liked Gus, thought he was a good guy.

His only problem is that he inherited "Auburn Deep Threat WR Disease" from his recent predecessors.

My point was if there was a true freshman who is better, Gus will not start him over a veteran guy and i feel Slayton is the weakest link out of our starting WRs

I'm not agreeing with you by any means but I do think I know what you're getting at. Slayton's high school film was sick catching intermediate passes and getting up field but we've used him at the X position which is basically deep threat or come back routes. I'd like to see him get more short routes like his has film

Disagree. Darius Slayton is the new version of Sammie Coates. By that, I mean he is the guy that takes the top of the defense and keeps them honest. Auburn didn’t have that in 2015 and it showed. He’s a playmaker.

Which is a huge position in Gus offense. Everything he is doing is trying to set up the deep ball. He runs sweeps, screens, and RPOs to get those safeties up to pop one off the top. Works 2-3 times a game. Used to hate that deep ball, but it works when you have a QB who can hit the WR.

yeah, the guy who finished 3rd in the SEC in yards per catch is our weakest link and should be on the bench. Higher than Coates ypc in 2013 and 2014.

Good call coach.
