Nice comeback, no quit but it's hard to overcome when the first half was as bad as it was.

Sucks but War Eagle anyway.

1st half we played too slow.. 2nd half we ran and made it a ball game. I have no idea why we keep trying to run our offense so slow. The ball gets stuck on our guards because they don't drive enough/are small. Everything about this team is better when we run.

Yea, if this was a one off it wouldn't be that big of a deal but it just reinforces the same issues we've seen for a while.

Just have to hope we out talent our way to the Sweet 16 and have a good shooting weekend that weekend.

Also playing slow takes away our depth advantage.. we play right into other teams hands by bringing the ball up slow.

Good to see the fight. Hope this is our last bad shooting performance of the season. War Eagle! On to the next!

To the big dance we go. It’s so or die time now. I could see us easily see us a 2 or 3 seed with how we have played our last 10

Had to just listen to the second half. We got a glimpse of what this team looks like when everyone, even Jabari, is off and it’s not pretty. All they can do now is focus on the tourney. Kudos to A&M. They played lights out.

We looked asleep in the first half. Needed to play like we did in the last 3 mins. TAMU played that way the whole game.

36 3 attempts w their 3 and 4 guard sets was not going to work.

2nd half they started to run better Offense and ofc TAM after getting a 20 pt lead probably backed off too.

I get all the “want to be positive” crap, but this was an undiscipline and pitiful performance and effort for 32 min.

All the excuses are just BS

Not being able to work the deficit closer to 10 late in the first half really did us in. Bruce has come back from down 17 or so points before but the comebacks didn’t start in the second half.

I don’t think we really played better offense in the second half. Wendell doesn’t hit the 4 30 footers the game isn’t close and that still is of the slimmest portions of our offense. Heave and hope.

Agreed. I know we want to be positive but there are major issues with this offense and that's worrisome. We just can't score consistently and in the tournament that is going to kill us if we don't get it fixed. The defense isn't that bad but even the worse team will eventually figure out a way to score points.

You ain't wrong but no reason to dwell on it. Better now than next week. If you want to do the eulogy in a couple of weeks then I'll attend.

On the bright side, only 9 turnovers is a positive sign. We had been struggling in that department.

Y'all can hate KD Johnson all you want but I still believe in that dude and I'm glad we have him.

I agree with that.. we are basically playing every game without a 3 on the floor. We still have bodies we send out there though... more than most teams. Running gets those guys easier looks and tires out the other team with a shorter rotation.

Our depth advantage dried up when Jaylin Williams and Cambridge became absolute zeroes.

This.

We play so stupid. We are not a good 3 point shooting team. Everybody knows this...........yet half our shots for the first 10 minutes of the game were 3's. I just don't understand how we didn't come into this game with a better game plan. Pearl is a great HC. I don't want anybody else.........but that is baffling as hell.

Jaylin Williams
I have no idea where he's been lately. I expect it from Cambridge, but Jaylin is usually more consistent.
