Cardwell playing very seriously tonight. Looking good. Yes late in the game he can do the goofy stuff if we are up 15 but glad to see him just getting the job done tonight and not acting crazy

Miss State is 54 in Net. Am I right in thinking this is considered a Q1 game?

Excellent start. Taking good shots for the most part and playing good defense as always.

If we shoot well in this game then I am finally buying into the Nike ball conspiracy and starting a petition to outlaw them

Sloppy first 4 minutes but got the lead early

I feel like we are playing the way we want to play right now. Like having Zep and Wen in there together. Cardwell has been a great change of pace with Kessler out

A confident Zep on offense is a game changer for this team

Kessler needs to get a 3 at some point. Can't be the only starter not to hit one, amirite?

Feels like they have 10 offensive boards

I like us giving the ball to Flan at the top of the arc and clearing some space to let him drive. He hasn't got it to fall yet, but that is a play he can be successful at, and the best way to try to utilize him on offense. Just don't turn it over and look for the pass if it isn't there.

I agree.

They have 6, but we’ve kind of had some untidy turnovers

We leak out a lot on defense when a shot goes up. Looks like if we can secure rebounds from the 2 bigs we can have number in transition and have a couple times already.
