St Louis canceled their midweek game because of covid.

Shiiiiiit. We might be seeing some positive cases soon.

I mean I guess the whole country will at some point. Omicron is doing work already.

But why? I think there have been like 12 deaths worldwide from omicron if i’m not mistaken. Maybe some added yesterday but even South Africa isn’t even attempting to treat it other then the sniffles. But I see we got a new batch of 1000’s if not 100’s of thousands of tests being sent out by the feds so I’m sure we will get many hits on “coronavirus”

Looking ahead to Murray State. They are 10-1 with a W over Memphis. Nice little warm up before LSU.

Bama is not very good. Top 30 team that could beat anybody any night for sure, but not a real threat to win the conference

Davidson is solid and Q1, but Alabama has no business losing that game in Birmingham. Oof.

I hope Murray State doesn't have another Ja Morant on their team.

Looks like their best player is from Fairhope. Lights out shooter. Averaging almost 20 a game, 44% from 3 on 8 attempts per game. Wish Flanigan were healthy enough to play and defend him because he has some height

They have to outscore teams. I have commented a few times about how important Herb Jones was to their team but most of them didn't want to believe it

Bama got worked in the post by Davidson too. Kessler should have his way with them down low and on the perimeter.

Typical Gonzaga too being a bit overrated. That 7' 160# C isn't built for speed.

Or Isaiah Cannon… or Cam Payne.

Murray is a solid program

How good of a test is tomorrow's game against Murray State for Auburn? The Racers are ranked higher in the NET (No. 41) than all but four teams on Auburn's SEC schedule.

And that’s why I think Jabari ends up No. 1. Hes got the athleticism to match the height. he’s the blend of Holmgren and Banchero, so not surprised if he jumps to #1 with strong conference play.

Murray is 82nd in Kenpom… top 100 in both adjusted offensive and defensive efficiency. They’ll be a really good test.

Bruce says Flanigan will go through warmups tomorrow and if all goes well he could see some minutes.

Davidson is not easy to defend.

We’ve been down this road before losing to a team probably shouldn’t lose at home.

In basketball it happens.

Alabama is good enough to get on a roll.

Rebounding is still my only concern. We get no offensive rebounds. Kessler and Smith so far but that's it on the boards. We need boards to make noise.
