Jabari can certainly be careless with his passes.

Bringing je23mo’s post front and center:

quote:

Wen leads the team in TO, he handles the ball a lot and drives to the basket, so that makes sense. These stats come from ESPN
Wen 58
Jabari 45
KD 37
Walker 29
Allen 24 this is more concerning since he hasn't played as many games
Jaylin 22
Devin 19
Jasper 17
Rest of team 31

Jar needs ti start being more physical and hitting his shots. Seems he has hit the wall but really teams have become more physical with him

Flanagan didn’t have a turnover against A&M irrc.

2019 offensive team. 2022 balanced team that leans on defense.
I agree with this.

Probably 8-10 of Allen’s have been charges

Yup… I was gonna put that in my post… feels like most of his TOs have been trying to force something driving to the basket and getting a player control foul… those suck, but they’re much better than live ball turnovers.

Zep is the “Glue Guy” for this team.

He truly cares more about the “TEAM” than himself.

I bet that is contagious. I’d say the same for Cambridge, Williams, and Cardwell.

This team is a “WE” team, not a “me” team.

Kentucky at Tennessee tonight.

Tyty hopefully out

I’ll be living vicariously through Tennessee today.

Seems like he could be a very good coach when he is done playing. Loves the team and obviously has a great understanding of the game based on how he plays

A TO is a TO. They both happen when you are on offense and never get a chance to score bc of them.

And on Flanigan, when you are watching the game, and he has the ball, can't you tell when he's getting ready to plow through someone? :)

I'll be yelling "nooooooooooo" bc we know he's getting ready to get that charge call...lol

Yep. He needs to turn into more of a true role player slasher with his slashing ability. Meaning he doesn’t need to drive to the hole unless there is a ball reversal and he has a path to the rim as the defense rotates over. I actually think he is particularly effective in those scenarios.

But it seems like every time he tries to take a defender who is set one on one he either loses the ball or doesn’t see the help side sliding in to take a charge. Or he settles for a bad step back three.

The difference is a live ball turnover (especially from your back court) allows for easy transition opportunities for the other team… we saw that in the 2nd half against A&M… literally the only points they scored were off TOs by our guards.

Him and Toppin allegedly both playing. Guess either their injuries weren’t serious or they were rushed back.

Tyty doesn’t look 100% to me but Tenn is loving the cats tenderly right now.

Don't like that UF is going to be angry in Gainesville this weekend.
