Yeah I’m guessing $6.5-7mil, nice bumps for his assistants, and it sounds like the plan isn’t to build an entirely new facility but to expand on the current one to give men and women their own weight rooms and courts. Would be great since right now men, women, and volleyball are having to schedule around using the current practice gym and the arena.

ETA: Also wouldn’t be surprised to here that some big money was promised in the way of NIL.

I agree. I would guess $6+ then the facility upgrades and pay raises for staff

Auburn announced on Saturday that men’s basketball coach Bruce Pearl has agreed to a new eight-year contract that runs through 2030 that will start at $5.4 million per year and rise $250,000 annually. The coach has been making right at $4 million annually in his eighth season at AU and said that he plans to make Auburn his "forever home."

The new deal includes pay increases for Auburn's assistant men's basketball coaches and support staff.

$5.4M is a bargain for Pearl IMO.

I think he wanted more money for his assistants. I’m sure at 62 that 5.4 million a year will go a long long way

Pearl was smart.

He could have gotten more, but he's using that extra to spread it out to all the staff...

He'll retire at 7.4m if he goes the full 8.

Completely lost our rhythm after the first shift change and having a hard time getting it back

Kessler was so good the first 4 minutes.

It's like we started a brand new season after the Kentucky game aftermath. Gotta reset.
