I was hoping we wouldn't sniff the top 25 until we play and hopefully beat Penn St. I want these guys to be hungry and play with a chip on their shoulder.

I don't think you have to worry about that. Being ranked 25 doesn't change anything. These coaches and players have heard all offseason that they suck. They're plenty hungry.

we will be ranked in both polls after this weekend. ABC wants a top 25 matchup for their prime time game.

Tbh all of these polls are bullshite. Oklahoma is ranked way to high and so is Ohio State, but I expect it with the ESPN rub they get. I hate to say it but A&M until they definitely lose should be in right now over those arse hats. I really don’t think we should have polls until after week 3.

While Auburn isn't a household name across the nation, we do have too much name recognition to stay out of the top 25 when so many above us choke and the team puts on a show like thaley did last week.

Auburn is right there with the elite of the elite. The down playing of Auburn's rightful place seems comical at this point. We are clearly historically between 10-15. We aren't a true blue blood but to think we are some also ran like Colorado State or something like isn't mildly close. Have to remember for years and years we played UGA and UF when the bammers played UTk and Vandy.
