Anybody surprised like me that CBS picked the TAMU-Arky as the #1 game over the Tennessee-UGA rivalry and possibly a huge SEC East game featuring 2 top 20 teams in the Mizzou-SCe game?

Not really surprised that they passed on UGA/Tenn, especially after the Dawgs lost Saturday. Usually that game is a little later in the season; right now there isn't going to be much hype around it. Common wisdom should be that UGA runs over them (I think they win on the ground but in a close one).

I thought Mizzou/USC was a possibility, but they just did USC, and the Pigs/JizzJars game could be a pretty high scoring affair if the Aggie defense is still as bad as it was. Aggie will score, but those Pig backs are going to get yards as well.

Nope.

Yall may not agree but I think Arky might just be a much better team than we all thought.

They have really only played 2 bad quarters in 3 games. They went on the road and beat the crap out of a Big 12 team and held thier own against us for 30 minutes.

And there are ALOT of people in Texas. They will be the premier game quite a bit in the future. I know out of the 3 listed Id rather watch AM vs Ark.

Not at all. That will probably be the best game of the day. Arky has a good shot for the upset.

I would not say good shot. It's essentially a road game against a team much better than the team they played last week. If the same Myles Garrett and company that dominated South Carolina's OL who was supposed to be one of the 2 or 3 best OLs in the SEC shows up for this one then the pigs will get roasted.

I just want CBS to leave Auburn/LSU alone. I want an ESPN night game for that one.

Arky's scheme isn't comparable to USC's, plus I think it's evident their o-line was overrated. They're middle of the pack in TFLA, Sacks, and are only rushing for 139/game. I fully expect them to abuse Myles Garrett's side of the ball, as he'll run himself out of the play. He's a great pass rusher, but he's got technique issues as far as maintaining LOS integrity (like Lawson did last year, natural for young speed rushers).

I think the spread will open around 10 points, but I'm calling the upset, Arky over A&M.
