AU vs Vandy Commies game thread

Will the tigers bounce back with the will to win on the road tonight or will they act like they’re running in knee deep mud ?!?!? CBM and Broome will need to sharpen their aim and Cardwell will need to dominate the boards… freshman PG Tyler Tanner out of BA playing for Vandy will light you up if left space.

I don't know why - besides Rupp Arena and the O'Dome in Gainesville - playing in Memorial always makes me uneasy. Such a tough venue to win in...

Haven't really watched Vandy so don't know what to expect. Looks like they aren't that long. Tallest guy that puts in minutes is Carey at 6'-8". But where they lack in length, they have some size. Carey is listed at 265lb. McGlockton at 230, Nickel and Hoggard at 220. Those four put in 20+ min/game but nobody puts in over 26 min/game. They run a 9 man rotation it seems. Bruce says they will turn you over if not careful, they avg 9.5 steals/game.
Need Broome, Cardwell and Johnson to stay out of foul trouble. Might need turtle at times for a big body. Hopefully the guards and wings have a better night shooting (14/39 against Fl).
That gym is strange and I expect Bruce to get warned about 50 times for getting out the box.
You hate to say it's a must win but I'd prefer not be on a 2 game skid with the game this weekend.

It is a must win if we want to win the regular season title, and we do since we have made it this far. There are only 8 games left

We played so uninspired for large stretches of the game against Florida.
