I was wondering if Thorne would take a sack or throw an INT to kill that drive. He upped his game and did an intentional grounding. He's expanding his repertoire.

My thought as well. Incorrect call by the refs. He was also outside the tackle box and threw the ball past the LOS.

Yep. Get the ball out of Thorne's hands: smart. Get the ball back into Thorne's hands on the same play: not smart.
