My guy - the defender was on him in under 3 seconds. He can't throw the ball away because that is intentional grounding and there is a clock runoff on the penalty.

Guys that play was not on Thorne. That was:
A. coaching
B. the LT failing as clownishly as any LT has ever failed.
You can’t call a drop back pass in that situation, and if you do your protection had better be there.
Thorne had to eat it. The result of not doing so was likely either a turnover or grounding which would have given them a runoff and ended the half anyway.

Roll out / levels.. or quick pass to boundary side, throw away if it’s not there

Should have spiked the ball on first down instead of running it and taking the time out. Setup the next 3 plays.

Both QB's milk the clock to 4 seconds......I thought It was just us and Throne ...Both teams are running it down.

Why not just kick it on 3rd down? No reason to run a spike in that situation with the clock already stopped.
